<h3>About the role</h3>
The role of the Category Media Lead is to manage a team of Category Media Specialists, alongside forging strong relationships across Coles 360 leadership team.
You have exceptional stakeholders’ management skills as you will be the main contact for senior team members and senior suppliers. You have a consultative approach to performance reporting, priorities and providing strategic media insights.
As part of this role, you will be required to manage and drive the team’s sales pipeline through the CRM and owning and addressing gaps with a pro-active and solution focused mindset.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Managing a team of Category Media Specialists.
• Accountable for the quarterly and annual revenue targets for their vertical, that then feed into the total Partnerships target.
• Supporting and driving high performance of team members to consistently exceed revenue targets.
• Designing and implementing new processes, reports and ways of working as we build this business from the bottom up.
• Leading by example; using prior sales management experience to inspire, guide and drive the best outcomes of your team.
• Support the Category Media Specialists with proposals, bookings, and campaign delivery
• Partner with the team to provide data, insights, and reporting to drive revenue targets
• Manage CRM (Salesforce) inputs and assist with financial reporting
• Collaborate with the Delivery team to oversee campaign execution and post-campaign reporting
• Act as an extension of the Category Media Specialists, enabling growth through exceptional support.

You’re organised, efficient, and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Whether you’re from a media agency, publisher, or brand-side media team, you bring a solutions-focused approach, strong client service, and a genuine passion for retail and brand connections.
You’ll also have:
• Experience supporting media sales, FMCG, or agency teams
• Excellent communication skills with a client-first mindset
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines with ease
• A collaborative mindset with the confidence to work independently
