Chef Fresh is the first Coles owned ready made meals facility.
Based at Banksmeadow, our site is highly automated, sophisticated and equipped to global best practice. We have a strong focus on team member safety, quality and continuous improvement whilst ensuring that customers' security of supply, quality, availability of product and value for money expectations are met. 


About the role

 
Coordinate the implementation of all Quality Control processes to ensure that the site meets all testing and verification requirements.
 
You will also:

  • Manage the compliance control process with a focus on adherence to the food safety plan
  • Own the reporting of Quality metrics including KPI’s, Customer feedback and supplier non-conformance
  • Be a key point of contact for the technical team when dealing with quality or food safety challenges
  • Support with investigating instances of non- conformance or system failure with a lense of continuous improvement 

 

About you and your skills

 

  • Proven experience working in a FMCG or food manufacturing environment
  • Deep understanding of Quality management systems, HACCP & FSP
  • Experience conducting Audits and monitoring compliance
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly excel)
