About the role

The P&C Business Analyst plays a critical role in the Process & Change team - a team responsible for assessing opportunities, defining requirements, and managing business impacts of system & process improvements that are aligned to transformational projects and the continuous improvement program.


The focus of this role will be working on key projects to: migrate businesses onto existing enterprise people platforms, processes as well as projects to enhance our team member experience through process digitisation, application design. This is an exciting opportunity to work on key initiatives aligned to the Coles P&C (HR) digital transformation.


The role will be working with a diverse range of stakeholders across People & Culture, Digital/IT and other functional/business stakeholders.

Please note this role is currently a 12-month fixed term full time opportunity with possibility to be extended. This role is location flexible across Australia.


What you'll be doing 

  • Facilitating stakeholder sessions with the aim to define and design business requirements and/or elicit business decisions to push initiatives forward.
  • Drawing on P&C and HRIS systems and process experience to guide business stakeholders to appropriate, best practice requirements - ensuring team member experience is at the fore-front.
  • Documenting business requirements and end to end process and working with Tech team to solution design.
  • Identifying business impacts with stakeholders for input into change plans. Working with business, P&C process/service owners and dedicated change resources to execute.
  • Assisting with other project related tasks, including at project cutover/migration.
  • Driving and managing other continuous improvement initiatives as required.


Good things you'll need

  • 3+ years experience in a Business Analyst or similar role, supporting business stakeholders in a large/complex organisation.
  • Experience working with HR/People systems & processes. Example SAP SuccessFactors or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to take complex business problems and deliver pragmatic solutions, that align to business/project goals, and ensure a superior end-user experience. #LI-PC1
