The Coles Division of Wesfarmers is one of Australia's largest companies, and is currently undergoing an extraordinary transformation. We're now seeking talented graduates from a range of areas to help us take it to the next level. It's your chance to have a dynamic career.
The three main streams of our graduate program are:
Retail Leaders - a twelve month accelerated development program where you will be based in a Coles Supermarket to learn all the operational aspects of managing a store and its specialist departments. During this time you will also have the opportunity to manage a department on your own, and at the end of the program you will ideally be placed in a senior department manager role.
Store Support - this is a two year program where you will join one of our support functions, including Merchandise, Marketing, People and Capability, Logistics, IT, Finance, Procurement Services, or Property. Within your chosen field, you will experience four six month rotations so you learn all aspects of that specialist area of the business.
Logistics - a twelve to eighteen month program where you will join the team at one of our Distribution Centres (DC), being appointed to a permanent position from the very beginning. You will also gain invaluable exposure to all areas of the DC’s operation through rotations in all the DC functions.
About our development program
As a Coles graduate, you will have access to a development program to sharpen your broader business skills. In addition to outstanding training and development, you'll be assigned a mentor, have opportunities to build strong professional networks, and be given the chance to work on significant real-life business projects (one of our graduates came up with an idea that saved us a million dollars!)
